Strawberry Freezer Jam

Yesterday we met Joel’s parents at Taylor’s Strawberry Farm to pick some berries… we kinda spent a small fortune, and we came home with a bunch of berries.

I found this recipe in a Google search which led me to The Craft Patch Blog. I can’t really figure out her legal whatever, but there is a link, it’s a recipe *shrug* she shared it so am I.

Strawberry Freezer Jam

  1. 20 cups of berries (washed, trimmed, chopped roughly)
  2. 4 cups sugar
  3. 4 (large) Strawberry Jello packages
  1. Put berries in a large pot, crush with spoon/potato masher (whatever).
  2. Add sugar stir up, let sit for at least an hour.
  3. Bring to a boil, let boil for 15mins.
  4. Turn off heat stir in Jello.
  5. Pour into Mason jars.
  6. Let cool and then put in the freezer!
This jam is unbelievable, it is so good. We are passionate about this jam. Let me know if you make it, I would love to hear what you thought about the process and how it turned out for you.
