No Laundry Pile Too High For God

Currently our bedroom looks like the dryer exploded. It started with one basket of clean clothes and has been added to with each load. I am going nuts each morning sifting through the pile to find everyone clothes, we need the clean clothes it is as simple as that. But now that the chore is out of hand I have zero desire to actually do it. I can see it, I am frustrated over it, and yet I keep choosing to ignore it.

Lysa’s words helped me (a self labelled “people pleaser”) learn why it is spiritually healthy to say NO, and why I should make instead take time to make a best YES. The Best Yes (in my opinion) should be required reading for all women!

Personal Update | February 2017

February 22, 2017

It is pouring rain today, which is bringing my motivation down a few notches today. Although despite the rain, I have been knocking a few chores of my to-do list this past week. Specifically the ones I have been avoiding for months – like the alone plant the cats knocked over on Christmas eve. I tend to ignore certain things hoping someone else will do it, knowing full well I am the only one who is actually going to pick the plant up and repot it. The aloe plant is now hanging in the dinning room (minus a few leaves), I hope he survives but after two months of neglect he seemed fairly okay. Sometimes I find with plants though you can ignore them forever and they do well, pay attention to them and they up and die.
